12 Questions With CrossFit Athlete Travis Williams


1) Who is Travis Williams? (where are you from, what do you do, a bit about yourself (hobbies, etc)

I’m from league city Texas and I’m a professional crossfiter. 

2) How many years have you been training?

I’ve been doing Crossfit for 6.5 years now. This is my 6th regional.

3) Whats been the most challenging/hardest part of your journey so far? and how have you overcome them (set backs, rejections, injuries, basically anything difficult that you have had to overcome) 


The most challenging part of my journey is the diet and the lifestyle sacrifices that I have made to make things possible. Like going out with friends and having a life other than Crossfit. But Crossfit is what I Love and I prefer it to the other 99% of the time.

4) What does your typical workout/diet routine look like?

Typical day looks like wake up eat oatmeal drink coffee Then egg whites and bacon and potatos Workout st 10 am or so lift and metcon Eat lunch usually a sandwich without cheese and chips Then another workout session Intervals and bitchwork and accessories Then dinner is burger and potatos Maybe halo top depending on where the macros are at by then. 

5) What new knowledge have you learned over this past year regarding training, lifestyle and nutrition?

In the last year not much has changed other than I now eat a lot of bread and it doesn’t bug me!

6) Whats your favourite cheat/Treat meal?

Favorite treat is a kolache.

7) Whats one supplement that you could not live without?

 Max perform.

8) If you had to start your Journey from scratch with your health & physique what would you do differently and why?

Nothing, I did it right the first time.

9) Who do you look upto in the fitness industry and why?

In the past i was a huge Jason Khalipa fan. Still am. But as for current athletes i don’t look up to them because they are my competition and one of these days I’m going to look down on them and beat them. But i do look up to my coaches to help me do just that. 

10) If you had to give one bit of advice to people starting out what would that be?

Set small goals. Give yourself a timeline to accomplish them. And keep doing that until you are where you want to be!

11) What new goals do you have on the horizon? 

To Win the Crossfit games.
